The Beautiful Emilia doll is derived from a Brazilian folklore in which a young girl gives her doll the gift of life. Brazilian girls are given an Emilia doll as a part of the ritual of childhood. Each doll is made of 100% linen & is unique in pattern of dress, with all fabrics derived from high end fabric house remnants. Skirt is removable. Dolls are not too stiff & not too floppy. Will soften over time. Cotton/polyester filled. Comes in a light gray skin tone.
Each doll comes in a natural colored muslin drawstring bag for child to carry & protect.
All are handmade by independent fairly paid seamstresses in Brazil.
