The Beautiful Emilia doll is derived from a Brazilian folklore in which a young girl gives her doll the gift of life.
In Brazil, each girl is given an Emilia doll as a part of her childhood. Each doll is made of 100% linen & is unique in pattern of dress, with all fabrics derived from high end fabric house remnants. Skirt is removable.
Gray & Pink skinned dolls have an embroidered red flower on one eye. Pink dolls also have an embroidered heart on one knee. Dolls are not too stiff & not too floppy. Will soften over time. Pink dolls are cotton filled & gray dolls are cotton/polyester filled.
Choose from light gray or pink skin tone.
Each doll comes in a natural colored muslin drawstring bag for child to carry & protect.
All are handmade by independent fairly paid seamstresses in Brazil.
