Child drawn inspiration fused with hand and eye sophistication created Floret. Maintaining that combination in her dolls and clothing for girls. In keeping with her deep-rooted origins all designs are handmade by fairly paid independent seamstresses in Brazil.
In her beautiful version of the Emilia doll, which tells the story of a girl who gives her doll the gift of life, Kaplan expresses her cultural history through traditional folklore.
