Ann Wood Handmade~
Based in Brooklyn, NY Ann Wood is an artist and designer who works in various mediums. For these gorgeous one-of-a-kind ships, she uses translucent paper Mache over a wire armature with vintage buttons for the rigging. The hand-sewn sails are vintage and antique fabrics frequently salvaged from garments. Her inspiration is rooted in a life long fascination with, and affection for ships as well as the found materials she use.
Environmentallly Friendly Features Include: Use of vintage recycled fabrics, buttons and newspapers. Handmade by artist in the US.
