AVANT collection is made of exquisite hand-crumpled linen. This crumpled linen has a very light texture, not coarse or heavy, but still very durable holding up to 39 lbs. (about 3-year-old.) Small enough to easily store in a purse and no worries about wrinkling, fabric is naturally wrinkly.
Highly-skilled artisans use a natural starch made from the Konjak plant in the crumpled-linen process. During dyeing process, the linen is carefully hand-dyed in factories in Kyoto where they have dyed kimono fabrics for generations. Achieving gradation pattern - shading in a lengthwise direction - without the colors mixing is a difficult task, the result of the skill of an artisan's.
As you use the sling day by day, the fabric becomes even softer and feels even better on your and your baby's skin. Linen repels sweat and moisture so neither you nor baby become sticky. Also dries quickly.

Slings come as left-shoulder slings (right-handed people usually put a sling on their left shoulders.) However, we can do custom right shoulder slings, if this is your preference.
